Amphos 21 Spain have been busy developing a powerful new tool to help clients tackle one of the biggest challenges of our time: climate change. The tool is able to analyse the impacts of climate change at a local scale around the world.

Alvaro Sáinz García, who led the project, shares, “Our tool transforms complex climate modelling data into easy-to-understand, decision-useful information. It’s an HTML-based application that gives physical hazard scores, dynamic visualisations, and clear site summaries. This way, decision-makers can carry out comprehensive risk assessments.”

The tool has already been put to work, helping their client with the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) report, offering insights into climate risks and opportunities. “It’s all about building trust and ensuring businesses are resilient to future climate impacts,” says Alvaro. “By using this tool, our client was able to identify ways to reduce costs, enhance resilience, and even spot new revenue streams.” A demo of the tool is available at https://climatechangeimpact.amphos21.com/site/index.html
